Today, the country western clothing has formed the basis of most modern fashion designs. Evidently, fashion designers in different parts of the world have been inspired by the style of the traditional western clothing and have incorporated some of their elements into their new designs.

The reason why country western clothing remained distinctive in style is perhaps because there was little availability of foreign clothing, especially deep in the ranches. Therefore, there was little influence on the design of the traditional country western clothing design. It was also difficult for the countrys, ranch servants, Indians, farmers, miners and ranchers to access clothes stores since they were largely located in big towns and cities. Therefore, they were forced to design their own attire from locally available materials such as leather, cotton and wool. Designers adorned their products with various styles, patterns, colors, adornments, sizes and for different purposes.

Western clothing represents something more than what hangs in a country’s closet, country western clothing men and women everywhere choose to clothing hearty western clothing like a pair of blue jeans or a western shirt because it represents a hard working way of life built on character. It is no secret that the western way of life is built upon a special relationship with the land.
